Started in 2004, YUYINTANG is one of the most iconic music venues in Shanghai and has played a vital role in developing the local music scene here in China since the turn of the century, reflecting the city’s distinct and ever-evolving culture over the last 20 years.

We have been honored to have thousands of Chinese and international artists give spectacular performances at our venues – notable acts such as St. Vincent, Japanese Breakfast, Mac DeMarco, Julie Doiron and more.

Currently, we are managing four venues in the city, including one government-owned art center, hosting over 400 shows and events every year.
